Program Data Collection (web)

You can record data at program level or target level depending on your needs.

How do I register data on at program-level?

Collecting data on this level is useful when you want to record the number of sessions you work with a program, but are not concerned with specific targets. This is suitable for students for whom target-level data collection is unnecessary, but you want a record of having worked on the skill.

  1. Go to Programs.

  2. Select a program.

  3. Select the plus (+) button for each session completed. Registration is automatically saved.

How do I record target-level data?

Set up a Session when you want a detailed record of attempts in a program, or when data on multiple programs during one sitting is desired. This is a more systematic approach that results in more granular data.

  1. Go to Programs.

  2. Select a program.

  3. Select Start session. You are now ready to collect data.

  4. If you have chosen to use the timer to record duration of the session, you can select Pause or Stop on the top right. If you pause, you will see a reminder that there is an ongoing session.

Discrete Trial Teaching

After selecting a Teaching Program, select the individual target you have presented to the student. The green color confirms your selection.

The programs feature varying input methods tailored to the specific data collection type: basic, trial-based, or trial-by-trial.

TypeRecording targets/attemptsRemove data recording
BasicSelect the individual target to record that it has been presented.Tap the target again to undo.
TrialsSelect the plus button to record the number of attempts for each target.Select the minus button to adjust the number of attempts.
Trial-by-trialClick on the circle that corresponds to the student’s response:

Green = Correct
Yellow = Prompt
Red = Incorrect
Grey = No response
Select the arrow in the right corner of the individual target to undo registration.

Mastering and Generalising of Targets

Select the menu button and go to the target list to mark a target as mastered or generalised.

  • When Mastered is selected, the target is marked with a green circle.

  • When Generalised is selected, the target is marked with a blue circle.

Chaining Trials

At each step of the teaching chain, select the button matching the student’s response: Green (correct) / Yellow (prompt) / Red (incorrect) / Grey (no response). The chain automatically advances to the next step.

When the chaining sequence is complete, you can start a new attempt by clicking the plus button.
